The International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB), founded in 1955, is an international non-governmental organisation concerned with biochemistry and molecular biology. Its mission is to promote research and education in biochemistry and molecular biology throughout the world.

The Mid-Career Research Fellowships programme is designed to support young biochemists and molecular biologists, from countries that are full or associate members of IUBMB who need to travel to other laboratories in the IUBMB region for the purpose of learning new state-of-the-art techniques or for other forms of scientific collaboration or advanced training.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants must be residents of countries that are members of IUBMB and must hold a faculty position and be actively involved in the training of PhD students.
